HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 1383RESOLUTION NO. 1383 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI SUPPLANTING RESOLUTION NO. 826 ADOPTED JANUARY 6, 1936, DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS "MAJOR STREE:TS" (SECTIONS 2052-2053 STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE). RESOLVED, that the Resolution named in the title hereof be amended and suprdemented so that the following described portion of Elm Street, Pine Street, Lodi Avenue, Muin Street, Sacramento Street and School Street within the corporate City limits of the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, between the termini indicated herein, be selected, approved, and designated by this City Council of the City of Lodi as "MAJOR STREETS" viz: NAM TRIM ELM STREET West line of Cherokee Lane to Western City limits. PINE STREET LODI AVENUE From 150 feet west of Crescent Street to a point approximately 425 feet westerly. From the old westerly City Limits boundary line at a point approxi- mately 200 feet west of South Rose Street to City Limits boundary line at East line of Ham Lane. MAIN STREET South line of Lockeford Street to North line of Lodi Avenue. SACRAMENTO STREET SCHOOL STREET South line of Woodbridge Road to City Limits boundary line at Ket- tleman Lane. South line of Lockeford Street to City Limit boundary line at Ket- tlemnan Lane. RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby recommend to the Department of Public Works of the State of California that the above described portion of Elm Street, Pine Street, Lodi Avenue, Main Street, Sacramento Street, and School Street be likewise approved and designated by the Director of said Department as "MAJOR STREETS" in the City of Lodi. I, J. F. BLAKELY, City Clerk of the City of Lodi and ex -officio clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the fore- going is a full, true, and correct copy of Resolution No. 1383 of the said City Council and that the same was adopted in regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of December, 1947, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen, Haskell, Lytle, Tolliver and Rinn (Mayor) NOES: Co en, None �� `, Riggs %J
