RESOLUTION NO. 1359.
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION AND GIVING NOTICE
THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI, CALIFORNIA
PROPOSES TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO
SAID CITY, DESIGNATED FOR THE PURPOSES HEREOF AS
MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ADDITION AND MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, on the third day of September, 1947 this City Council
received the petition of Lodi Memorial Hospital Association, Inc.,
sole owners of all the territory hereinafter described, requesting
that said territory, contiguous to this City and uninhabited, be
annexed to the City of Lodi in accordance with proceedings to be had
in accordance with the provisions of the " Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939 " as amended to the date hereof, and,
4HEREAS, the territory herein proposed for annexation is not
part of any subdivision, nor does the same contain buildings or
structures of any kind and report thereon is not required from the
City Planning Commission of this City, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the intention of this City Council of
the City of Lodi, hereby expressed, to annex said territory to said
City pursuant to proceedings to be had conforming to the provisions
of the ti Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 " as amended*
For the purposes of said annexation said territory is hereby designated
31 MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ADDITION " for identification and is particularly
bounded and described as follows:

The North 4.3 acres of the South 10 acres of the
East 33 acres of the Southwest one quarter of
Section 2, Township 3 north, Range 6 East, M.D.B.& 11,0
A map delineating the boundaries of said territory is on file in
the office of the City Clerk of this City and may be there consulted
for further particulars and greater certainty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that this City
Council hereby fixes WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 1947 AT THE HOUR OF 8:00
P. M. OF SAID DAY QND THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, LOD I,
CALIFORNIA as the day, hour and place where and when any person owning
property within this territory may appear before this City Council and
so
show cause why the same should not b7annexed. Such protests or
objections must conform to the provisions of Section 6 of the act
under which it is proposed to annex this territory.
The City Clerk will give notice of the adoption of this resolution
by causing the same to be published for at least two consecutive weeks
prior to the date herein set for hearing in The Lodi Tames, a weekly
newspaper printed and published in this City and hereby designated
for this purpose.

I, J. F. Blakely, City Clerk of the City of Lodi and ex -officio
Clerk of the City Council thereof do hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution No. 1359 was regularly introduced, passed
and adopted by said City Council in regular meeting held on the
17th day of September, 1947 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen, Haskell, Lytle. Riggs, Tolliver and Rinn
NOES: Councilmen, None
ABSENT: Councilmen, None r -a
