HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2461RESOLUTION NO. 2461 WITHDRgWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF L O D I FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHEREAS, this City Council did by Ordinance No.691+ , effective July 7, 1961 , approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as Mayer Addition ; and WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California, executed by said Secretary of State on july 10, 1961, referring to said Ordinance No.694 , and the an- nexation of the real property described therein; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that said property designated as Mayer Addition be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: That that certain real property, designated as Mayer Addition , and particularly described as follows, to wit A portion of the Southwest Quarterof Section 11, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin County, California, and more particularly described as follows: 1. r Beginning at a point on the South line of Section 11, Township 3 1�ort h, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, which point is 1846.5 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Section and in the center line of the Woodbridge Irrigation District canal; thence Northerly 974 feet along the center line of said irrigation canal to the trueoint of beginning; thence continuing Northerly 977pfeet along the East line of the land owned by E. J. Brown, as conveyed to her by deed recorded in Book "All of deeds, Volume 139, page 59.E San Joaquin County Recordsj thence Easterly 326.5 feet, more or less, to a line which is 446.5 feet Best of and parallel to the East line of said Southwest Quarter; thence Southerly 977 feet along this line, also a City boundary line, which is 446.5 feet West of and parallel to the East line of said Quarter Section, to a corner of the City Limit line; thence Westerly 335 feet, more or less, along the City Limit line to the point of beginning; the area thus described containing 7.4 acres,, more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Ordinance No. 694 ; be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District.
