BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Parks Division has spent over $2,000 in the last three (3) months on rental fees for Walk - Behind Trenchers. This type of small equipment is used quite often by the department for digging of sprinkler lines, electrical and drainage pipe trenches. In order to save funds from being expensed for rentals, the department is requesting the purchase of a Walk -Behind Trencher.
