AWARD - PAINTING
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duI published in accordance
with law and the order of this City Cyouncil, sealed bids were
received and publicly opined by the City Clerk of this City on
December 191960 for the painting of various ee:�ilings, walls,
stairways, 'floors and outside trim at the City Hall, the Fire
House at 1.14 North Main Street and the Fire House at 2 East Lodi
Avenue as described in the specifications therefor appproved by
this City Council in regular session on December 7, N60; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked and tabulated
and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:

WhEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that award be
made to J. L. Winchester as the lowest responsible bidder; now,
therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED, that award of contract for the painting
carta�.n parts of the City Hall and the two Fire Houses be and
tho same is hereby awarded to J. L. Winchester for the total
sun of $2,297.44.
Ch the adoption of this resolution, the Finance Director
shall place his order fQr said painting with the above successful
bidder and obtain acceptance therefor and shall notify the un-
successful bidders of the award made herein.

Certified to be a full, true and correct copy
of Resolution No. 2399 of the City Council of the
City of Lodi passed and adopted in a regular meeting
held December 21, 1960 by the following vote:
