That the territory which the petitioners re4u�sst k�e 411uavx80, Go tha City of Lodi and which said City and its Council propose to annex, is situate in the County of San Joaquin, State of Calit'oruia, hereby designated ":M.archese Addition," and described as follows: purLiui, ui tree Southwest 4. rter u1 Sectiun 2, 1uwt4ki1p 3 North, Rangy• 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, which puint is 381.25' feet west of the southeast corner of said Quarter; thence northerly along the West line f the property deeded to Edwiz, Thayer as recorded iu Volume 841, pegs 425, San Joaquin County Records, 264.0 feet to the South line of the property deeded to Adolph Fischer, as recorded in Volume 1246, page 234, Sari Joaquin County Records; thence westerly along the South line of said Fischar property 165.0 teat to the West line of the South 10 acres of the East 33 acres of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2; thence southerly along the said West line 264.0 feet to the South Lille of the Suuthwest Quarter of Section 2; thence easterly along the said South line 16.5.0 feet to the point of be inning; the property thus described containing 1.0 acres, more wiz' less, 1_ 3. That the County Boundary Commission Of San Joaquin County, California, did in session duly assembled on Monday, April 11, 1960, consider and approve the proposed annexation boundaries of said "Marchese Alditics," as above described, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponents of said annexa- tion. 4. That the petitioners further request that the territory proposed for annexation take the zontnz classification of A-3 Residential to become effective coincident with the effective date of the anx:exation as provided in Section 4.2 of Ordinance No. 469 of the City of Lodi. 5. That Wednesday, Juna 15, 1960 at tha nuur of 6 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the Cita Ball in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any perso41 owning real property within the uninhabited territory abuve described and proposed to be ar.n xed to the City of Lodi, anu having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City of Lodi and show cause why such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to the City of Lodi. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state the base or rlaras of the owner or owners of property affected and the description and area of such property, in general terms. 6. The City Clerk of the City of Lodi is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, in the "Lodi News Sentinel," a newspaper of general circulation published In said City of Lodi, the city to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said publication to be oompleta at least twenty days prior to the date set for hearing. 7. In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be annexed to said City, a structural improvement owned, being acquired or 2. leased by a county fire protection district, the City Clerk is directed to cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the governing body of such district, such notice to be sent not less than ten days before the first public hearing upon such proposed annexation. 8. The City Clerk is directed to cause written notice to be givan to such othar persons as may to legally entitled thereto, in the manner required by law. Dated: My 4, 1960.
