HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2259• RESOLUTION NO.2259 C, WITHDRAIIING CERTAIN PROPERTY xNNEnD TO TI1E CITY CF LODI F[U4 THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHEREAS, this City Council did by Ordinarice No. 644, effective Jt.7.y 3, 1959 , approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as West Lockeford Street Addition 's and WHEREAS, there is on file in the office o., the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California, executed by said Secretary of State on July 6, 1959 , referring to said Ordinance No. 644 , and the an- nexation of the real property described therein; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that said property designated as West Lockeford Street Addition be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: That that certain real property, designated as West Lockeford Street Addition , and particularly described as follows, to wit: A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin County, California, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of the Northwest uarter of said Section 2; thence westerly along the south line o said Northwest Quarter429.25 feet to the true point of beginnin , which point is also a corner of the present boundary line of the City of Lodi; thence northerly and parallel to the east line of said Northwest Quarter along a line, which is also a boundary r{ line of the City of Lodi, 439 feet to its intersection with the center line of West Lockeford Street, previously known as Locke - ford Avenue; thence westerly along said center line of West Locke - ford Street, also a City boundary, 670.5 feet to its intersection with the center line of Cross Street; thence northerly alongthe said center line of Cross Street, also a City boundary, 30 eet to its intersection with the extended north line of West Lockeford Street; thence Westerly along the north line of West Lockeford Street, also a City boundary, 442.8 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 36 Gerard Tract subdivision as filed for record on August 8, ' 1916 at page 62, Volume 8 ,Book of Maps and Plats, San i Joaquin County Records, which point s also a corner of the present City boundar , thence continuing along the north line of West Locke - ford Street 2.8 feet to its intersection with the center line of Loma Drive, previously known as the northerly extension of Lockeford Avenue; thence sohtherly along the center line of Loma Drive, also a Cit boundary, 30 feet to its intersection with the center line of West Lockeford Street; thence easterly along the center line of West Lockeford Streamt also a City boundary, 860.6 feet to its intersection with the ex4eaded west line of Cross Street; thence southerly along the extended west line of Cross Street, also a City boundary, 30 feet to its intersection with the south Line of West Lockeford Street; thence easterly along the extended south line of West Lockeford Street, also a City Boundary, 50 feet to its intersection with the east line of Cross Street; thence southerly along the east line of Cross Street, also a City Boundary, 409 feet to its intersection with the south line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 2; thence easterly along the said south line of the Northwest Quarter, also a City boundary line, 645.5 feet to the true point of beginning; the described area containing 6.9 acres, more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Ordinance No. 644, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District.
