TRUCK AWARDS
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in
accordance with law and the order of this City Council,
sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the Pur-
chasing Agent of this City on March 16, 1959 for the pur-
chase by the City of Lodi of one 2 -ton flatbed truck and
one 2-tbn dump truck as described in the specifications
therefor approved by th.i s City Council in regularly ad-
journed session on February 25, 1959, and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked and
tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager
for recommendation of award by this City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that
award for the 2 -ton Flatbed Truck be made to Krieger
Motor Company and that award for the 2 -ton Dnp Truck
be made to Loewen Motor Company as the lowest respective
bidders, now therefore,
Bh IT RESOLVED, that award of contract for the sale
of one 2 -ton Flatbed Truck be and the same is hereby made
to Krieger Motor Company for the sum of 63,4.15.12; and
that award of contract for the sale of one 2 -ton Dump
Truck be and the same 1 s hereby made to Loewen Auto Company
for the sum of $3,112.4-8.
Oi adoption of this resolution, the Purchasing Agent
shall notify the above successful bidders of the awards
made herein and obtain their acceptance therefor and shall
notify all unsuccessful bidders of said awards.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
No. 2213 was duly and regularly adopted by a
unanimous vote of the City Council of the City
of Lodi at the regular meeting thereof held on
March 18, 1959.
