A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING GRANT
AWARD FOR THE RAILROAD CORRIDOR TRANSIT ORIENTED
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS), AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY AGREEMENTS; AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS FROM
QUALIFIED CONSULTANTS TO PREPAREA RAILROAD CORRIDOR
TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT PLAN INA DESIGNATEDAREA
DOWNTOWN AFTER EXECUTION OF THE GRANT BY CALTRANS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to accept the $75,000 community-based planning grant from the
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), with an in-kind contribution of $9,250 and a
fiscal contribution of $9,500 from Street Funds and Measure K, for a Railroad Corridor Transit
Oriented Development Plan; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all
necessary agreements for receipt of the grant; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager
to solicit proposals from qualified consultants to prepare a Railroad Corridor Transit Oriented
Development Plan in a designated area downtown after execution of the Grant by Caltrans.
