RESOLUTION NO. 3380
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "MOK-ALOHA ADDITION, "
TO THE CITY OF LODI
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939 a petition signed by all of the owners of certain un-
inhabited territory, hereinafter more particularly described, was presented
to the City of Lodi which petition did request annexation of said territory
to the City of Lodi; and
WHEREAS,
said petition
was
presented to the San Joaquin County Local
Agency Formation
Commission
for
their approval and the approval of that
body was given at
its meeting
held
on May 15, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission
granted the City of Lodi power to waive notice and hearing on the proposed
annexation pursuant to the provisions of Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council of the City
of Lodi at its regular meeting held on May 27, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi finds the foregoing
statements to be true and correct; that said territory is contiguous to the
City of Lodi, and that the same is uninhabited territory in the County of
San Joaquin;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve the annexation to the City of Lodi of the territory hereinafter des-
cribed and does hereby further resolve that said territory be and the same is
hereby annexed to the City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows:
A portion of the South One-half (S 112) of Section 36, Township
4 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin
County, California, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Section 36. Township 4 North,
Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; thence Northerly along
the East line of said Section 36 to its intersection with the South bank
of the Mokulu=e River; thence Westerly, downstream, along the South
bank of said River to its intersection with a point lying 50.00 feet
Easterly of, as measured perpendicular to the original located center-
line of Southern Pacific Company's main track; thence Southerly, parallel
with and 50.00 feet Easterly of said centerline to a point in the South
line of the 10.00 foot strip of land deeded to L. J. Loveless and recorded

May 9, 1927 in Vol. 189, page 119, San Joaquin County Records; thence
Easterly, along the South line of said 10.00 foot strip of land to a point
lying 100.00 feet easterly of as measured perpendicular to said centerline
of Southern Pacific Company's main track; thence Southerly, parallel
with and 100.00 feet Easterly of said centerline to a point in the North
line of WESTWAREHOUSES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LODI; thence
North 88" 35' East, 195.96 feet; thence South 79' 46' East, 122.53 feet;
thence North 88' 35' East, (40.00 feet North of and parallel to the
South line of said Section 36) a distance of 172.45 feet; thence South 1' 25'
East, 10.00 feet; thence North 88' 35' East, (30.00 feet North of and
parallel to said South line), a distance of 60.12 feet, more or less, to
the point of intersection with the Northerly extension of the East line of
Stockton Street; thence South 4' 42' West along said extension of Stockton
Street 30.06 feet, more or less, to the South line of said Section 36;
thence Easterly along said South line (said line being also the North line
of the LAWRENCE RANCH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LODI) 2122.09
feet to the point of beginning, containing 66 Acres, more or less.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3380 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in an adjourned regular meeting held
May 27, 1970.
