HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3336,-tESOLUTION NO. 3336 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "HALLINAN ADDITION," TOS THE CITY OF LODI WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 a petition signed by all of the owners of certain un- inhabited territory, hereinafter more particularly described, was presented to the City of Lodi which petition did request annexation of said territory to the City of Lodi; and WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission for their approval and the approval of that body was given at its meeting held on December 19, 1969; and WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission granted the City of Lodi power to waive notice and hearing on the proposed annexation pursuant to the provisions of Section 54797.1 of the Government Code: and WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Lodi at its regular meeting held on January 7, 1970; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi finds the foregoing statements to be true and correct; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi, and that the same is uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaquin; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve the annexation to the City of Lodi of the territory hereinafter des- cribed and does hereby further resolve that said territory be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Lodi. That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows: A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 3 North, Range 7 East and a portion of the Southwest Quarter of Sec- tion 31, Township 4 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 6; thence North 00' 38' East, along the east line of said Northwest Quarter 537.00 feet to the Northeast corner of the "Claude C. Wood Addition" to the City of Lodi, being on the existing City Limits line and the true point of beginning; thence along said existing City Limits line as follows: North 88' 13' West, 1534.20 feet to the northeasterly right of way line of North 99 Frontage Road; thence southeasterly along said northeasterly right of way line on a curve to the left, radius 372.00 feet, an arc distance of 32.25 feet, to the intersection with the south line of Lot 45 of LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION, as filed in Book of Official Maps and Plats, -1- Volume 10, page 5, San Joaquin County Records, said point being. also in the North line of the "Cherokee Addition" to the City of Lodi; thence North 85' 03' West, along the South line of said Lot 45, a distance of 886.13 feet to the West line of said Section 6; thence continuing along said City Limits line, North 00" 37' East, along said West line of Section 6, a distance of 213.00 feet; thence Easterly 32.00 feet to the southeast corner of "LAWRENCE RANCH ADDITION" to the City of Lodi; thence North 00" 37' East, along the East line of said LAWRENCE RANCH ADDITION, 1924 feet, more or less, to a point in the northerly line of Lot 40 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION, said point being also in the South line of "64th ADDITION LANDS SOUTH OF MOKELUMNE RIVER AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 99" to the City of Lodi; thence along said northerly and the westerly line of said Lot 40, South 88' 13' East, 647.1 feet and North 00" 42' West, 559 feet; thence leaving said City Limits line, and along the northerly, easterly and southerly lines of said Lot 40, the following nine courses: (1) South 60' 00' East, 270 feet; (2) thence North 20" 10' East, 440 feet; (3) thence North 89" 50' East, 170 feet; (4) thence South 26° 50' East, 195 feet; (5) thence South 02°, 15' East, 340 feet; (6) thence South 88" 45' East, 245 feet; (7) thence North 55" 44' East, 208 feet; (8) thence South 01° 20' East, 370.00 feet; (9) thence North 88" 13' West 686.5 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 41 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION; thence South 00' 29' West, along the East line of Lots 41, 42, 43 and 44 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION, 1815.00 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 47 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION; thence South 88' 13' East, along the North line of Lots 47, 48 and 49 of said LAWRENCE HOMESTEAD ADDITION, and the easterly extension thereof, 1349.6 feet to a point in the East right of way line of Cluff Avenue; thence South 00' 38' West, along said East line, 369.36 feet to a point in the North line of "Reynolds Addition" to the City of Lodi, being on the aforesaid City Limits line; thence along said City Limits line to the point of beginning as follows: Westerly 25.00 feet to a point in the East line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 6 and South 00" 38' West, along said East line of Sec- tion 6, a distance of 76.64 feet to the true point of beginning; the area thus described containing 77.4 acres, more or less.
