RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Mayor Land present a proclamation honoring Lenore Sypnieski as Green
Thumb's Outstanding Worker in San Joaquin County.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Mayor has been requested to present a proclamation honoring Lenore
Sypnieski as Green Thumb's Outstanding Worker in San Joaquin County.
Green Thumb is the nation's oldest and largest non-profit provider of
employment and training for Americans over the age of 55 and low income.
Ms. Sypnieski is 79 years old and commutes daily from Lodi to Stockton where she has worked at the Diocese of
Stockton as an executive secretary for the past 17 years.
