RESOLUTION NO. 3275
WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED
TO THE CITY OF LODI FROM THE MOKELUMNE
RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, this City Council did by Resolution No. 3270,
effective May 21, 1969, approve the annexation of that certain real
orooerty, contiguous tD the City of Lodi, designatedas "Bischel
Addition": and
WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of
California, executed by said Secretary of State on May 26, 1969, referring
to said Resolution No. 3270, and the annexation of the real property
described therein: and
WHEREAS, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certi-
fying t o the annexation of said "Bischel Addit ion" in accordance with law
was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on June 4, 1969:
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of
said property designated as "Bischel Addition" which lies within the
Mokelumne Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said
District, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows:
That that certain real property, lying within the said "Bischel
Addit ion" and particularly described as follows, to wit:
A portion of the Southeast one-quarter (SE 1/4) of Section
six (6) Township three (3) North, Range seven (7) , East, Mount
Diabla base and Meridian, and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast one-quarter
of said Sect ion 6, being on the north right of way line of the Central
California Tract ion Company Railroad right of way (100 feet wide),
being also on the City Limits line of the City of Lodi as described by
City of Lodi Ordinance No. 616 (75th Addition) approved by the City
Council of the City of Lodi, May 21, 1958 and Ordinance No. 837
(Super Mold Addition) certified by the Secretary of State, May 23,
1967, also being the southwest corner of Lot 9 as shown on MAP NO. 3
of LIVE OAK COLONY filed for record February 28, 1889 in Book of
Official Maps and Plats, Volume 1, page 75, San Jaaquin County Records:
then leaving said north line of Central California Traction Company
Railroad right of way, Northerly along said City Limits line, being the
west line of said Southeast one-quarter of said Section 6 and the west

line of Lots 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4, as shown on said MAP NO. 3 OF LIVE
OAK COLONY, a distance of 796.3 feet to intersection with the south-
west corner of Lot 3 as shown on said LIVE OAK COLONY: thence
leaving said City Limits line, Easterly along the south line of said Lot 3,
a distance of 343.8 feet to intersection with the west tine of Lot 10 as
shown on said MAP NO. 3 OF LIVE OAK COLONY: thence Southerly
along said west line of Lot 10, being the east line of aforesaid Lots 4, 5,
6, 7, 8 and 9, as shown on said LIVE OAK COLONY, a distance of
812. 7 feet to intersection with the north right of way line of said Central
California Traction Company Railroad right of way, being the south line
of said Southeast one-quarter of said Section 6: thence Westerly along
said north Railroad right of way line, being said south'.ir,e of said South-
east one-quarter, also being the south line of aforesaid Lot 9 as shown
on said MAP NO. 3 OF LIVE OAK COLONY, a distance of 326 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning; the area thus described
containing 6.2 acres, more or less.
annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Resolution No. 3270, be and it
is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Mokelumne Rural County Fire
Protection District.

Gassed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in
regular meeting held June 18, 1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - BROWN, CULBERTSON, HUNNELL.,
