HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3142RESOLUTION NO. 3 142 STORM DRAINAGE POLICY WHEREAS, the installation of storm drainage facilities is considered to be an over-all City-wide problem for which it is very difficult to fix specific responsibility within the limits of each subdivision of development; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to equalize the storm drainage responsibility of each subdivision or development; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi that Resolution No. 2743 is amended to provide for an acreage charge of $925 per gross acre of property developed (i. e. , subdivided or converted fromvacant to some higher use); BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT; each subdivision or development shall be credited an the following schedule for ali storm drain facilities in- stalled within public streets or right-of-way: 12" pipe $ 6. 50 per lineal foot 15" pipe $ 7. 00 per lineal foot 18" pipe $ 8. 50 per lineal foot 21" pipe $ 9. 50 per lineal foot Z4" pipe $10.50 per lineal foot 27" pipe $11. 53 per lineal foot 30" pipe $ S. 00 per lineal foot 36" pipe $ 9. 00 per lineal foot Manholes $400.00 each THAT; whenever the charges exceed the credits the developer will pay to the G;ty the balance at the time of development (i. e. , approval of sub- division final map, or issuance of building permits); THAT; whenever the credits exceed the charges the City will reimburse the developer following acceptance of the work. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall be effective immediately for all developments except those subdivisions having a tentative map approved by the City Planning Commission prior to January 3, 1968.
