HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3101RESOLUTION NO. 3101 DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI TO VACATE RIGHT OF WAY NORTH OF LOT 37, WALNUT ORCHARD TRACT, AND RUNNING WESTERLYTOCHEROKEELANE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate, close. and abandon as public street the following portion of street situated in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 37, Walnut Orchard Tract, as filed for record August 22, 1947, in Volume € 1, page 137, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records; thence South 87' 41' East along the North line of said Lot 37, 89.81 feet to the Northeast corner of said lot; thence North 0" 34-112' West 20. 03 feet to the North line of said Walnut Orchard Tract: thence North 87" 41' West, 270.95 feet; thence South 3" 49-1/2' East, 20. 11 feet; thence South 87° 41' East, 180.00 feet to the point of be ginning. Reference is hereby made to a map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as to the proposed vacation. Section 2. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that this City Council does hereby fix Wednesday, November 1, 1967, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. and the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the vacation herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be heard. Section 3. Upon adoption of this resolution the Director of Public Works shall post, or cause to be posted, notice of such passage and of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance with and in time, form and IM manner as prescribed by law for the vacation of streets. Section 4. This resolution shall be published one time in the Lodi News Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, said publication to be completed at least fifteen days prior to said hearing.
