HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3100RESOLUTION NO. 3100 WI'II-illRikWIN(" CERTAIN FROPERTX ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF 4MI FROM THE WOODBRIDGS RURAL COLNTf FIRE FRO'TECTIOM DISTRICT WIAERSAS, this City Council did by Ordinance No. 845, effective September 1, 1967, approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as "Boron Addition"; and WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk Of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the state of California, executed by said Secretary of State on September 5, 1967, referring to said Ordinance No. 845, and the annexation of the real property described therein; and WH RF1S, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying to the annexation of said "Boson Addition" in accordance with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on September 14, 1967; and WHF-REAS, it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of said property designated as "Boron Addition" which lies within the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said District, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: That that certain real property, lying within the said "Boron Addition" and particularly described as follows, to wit: A portion of the Northwest One -Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Eighteen (18) , Township Three (3) North, Range Seven (7) East, Mount Oiablo Base and Meridian, more particularly described as follows; Commencing at the northwest corner of said section 18, in the intersection of Kettleman Lane with Cherokee Lane, formerly U. S. Highway No. 99; thence easterly along the north line of said Section 18, a distance of 113.2 feet, more or less, to the northeast Corner of the tract of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Kundert Addition." described in city of Lodi Resolution NO. 2874. and the true point of beginning; thence southerly along the east line of said "Kundelt Addition" 259 feet, more or Less, to the southwest coznez of the parcel of land described as Parcel III of deed to Theobeld Horst, Sr., recorded February 1, 1946 in Volume 951, page 337, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence leaving said east line of "Kundert Addition," easterly along the south line of said Horst lands 234.73 feet to the southeast earner thereof; thence northerly along the east line of said Horst lands, 55 feet to a point on the south line of the tract of land described in deed to the Atlantic Refining Company Eecorded February 17, 1966 in Volume 3026, page 115, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence easterly along the south line of said Atlantic Refining Company lands 188.25 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of the land described as Parcel lI of deed to the State of California recorded May 27, 1963 in Volume 2694, page366, Book of Official Records of 5an Joaquin County, being a point in the westerly right of way line of U. S. Highway No. 99; thence North 30 31' East along said westerly right of way line and said line produced northerly, 204.2 feet to a point on the north line of said Section 18 also being a point on the existing City Limits line; thence North 57° 39' 51" West along said north line of Section 18, being on said City Limits line, 439.417 feet, more or less, to the true point of beginning; the area thus described containing 2.32 acres. more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Ordinance No. 845, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the S%bodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District.
