WITHDRAWNG CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LODI
FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, this City Council did by Resolution No. 2971, effective
August 3, 1966, approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous
to the City of Lodi, designated as "Stockton Street Addition;" and
WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City
of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California,
executed by said Secretary of State on August 5, 1966, referring to said Reso-
lution No. 2971 and the annexation of the real property described therein; and
WHEREAS, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying
to the annexation of said "Stockton Street Addition" in accordance with law was
filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on August 10, 1966; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that said property
designated as "Stockton Street Addition" be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural
County Fire Protection District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lodi as follows:
That that certain real property, designated as "Stockton Street Addi-
tion," and particularly described as follows, to wit:
A portion of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 3
North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian and a portion
of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range
6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of the parcel of land
annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Academy,Addition, " as des-
cribed in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 229, which point lies North
00 05 1/2' West 25.03 feet and North 870 06` East 20.02 feet from
the Northwest corner of said Northeast Quarter of Section 13, as
shown on map of survey filed for record in Volume 5, page 231,
Record of Surveys, San Joaquin County Records, said point of
beginning being on the westerly extension of the North right of way
line of State Highway Sign Route No. 12 (50 feet wide), also known
as Kettlema.n Lane; thence South 00 05 1/2' East, crossing said
State Highway, 150.03 feet to a point on the East right of way line
of Stockton Street (40 feet wide); thence North 870 06' East 49. 98
feet; thence North Oo 5 1/2' West 150.03 feet to the point of inter-
section with said South line of "Academy Addition" annexation on the
aforesaid North right of way line of said State Highway; thence South
870 06' West along said common line, being an existing City Limits
line, 49. 93 feet to the point of beginning; the area thus described
containing 0.17 acre, more or less.

annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Resolution No. 2971, be and it is hereby
declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection
District.
