A RESOLUFTIO?I APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNIN.F4BITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "STOCXTON STREET
ADDITION," TO TIE CITY OF LODI
SE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the "Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939," on the 20th day of July,
1966, the City Council of the City of Lodi did pass and adopt
Resolution !1o. 2969 initiating proceedings for the annexation
to said City of certain uninhabited territory owned by the City
of Lodi, giving notice of the proposal to annex said uninhabited
territory to the City of Lodi, said territory being therein desig-
nated. as "Stockton Street Addition," said Resolution describing
the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed and giving
the reasons for the proposed amexation; and
WEEREAS, said Resolution No. 2969 did contain a notice of
the day, our and place when and where the Council of the City
would hear protests made by any person owning real property within
the City of Lodi, the time of said hearing being not more than
thirty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution Eio. 2969 was duly published in
accordance with law; and
`REAS, on the 3rd day of August, 1966, at the hour of
8:00 p.m. in tho Council Chambers in the City Ball of the City of
Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, said time 2nd
place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2969
for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council
did conduct said hearirg and did determine that no protests t o
said annexation had been made: and
iREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi,
and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaquin;

NOW, TL-EREFORE, the said Council of the City of Lodi, does
hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter des-
cribed to the City of Lodi, and does hereby further resolve that
the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Lodi.
That said territorg, the annexation of which to the City
of Lodi is herein approved, is a 11 that territory situate i n the
County of San Joaquin, State of California, more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
A portion of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12,
Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Disblo Base and
Meridian, and a portion of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 13, Township 3 Torth, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo
Base and Meridian, and more particularly described as
follows
Beginning at a point on the South line of the parcel
of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Academy Addi-
tion," as described in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 229,
which point lies North 0° 05-' West 25.03 feet and PTorth
87° 06' East 20.02 feet from the Northwest corner of said
Northeast Quarter of Section 13, as shown on map of survey
filed for record in Volume 5, page 231, Record of Surveys,
San Joaquin County Records, said point of beginning being
on the wostorly axtpnsion of the North right of wag line
of State Highway Sign Route No. 12 (50 feet wide), also
!mown as Kettleraan Lane; thence South 0° 05 East, cross-
ing said State Highway, 150.03 feet to a point on the East
right of way line of Stockton Street (40 feet wide);
thence North 87° 06' East 49.98 feet; thence North 0° 5k'
West 150.03 feet to the point of intersection with said
South line of "Academy Addition" annexation on the aforesaid

North right of way line of said State Highway; thence
South 87° 06' West along said common line, beinean
existing City Limits line, 49.98 feet to the point of
beginning; the area thus described containing 0.17 acre,
more or less.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Lodi in regular meting held Wednesday,
August 3, 1965, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Brown, Culbertson, Hurnel l and
Walton
