Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian and more particulz--rly described as follow+r: Beginning at a point on the South line of tie parcel of land annexed to Vv-- City of Lodi as the '.Acadony Addition," as described in City of Mi Ordinance No. 229, which point lies North 00 03=jl West 25,83 feet and North 870 061 East 20.02 feet from trig Northwest corner of said Northeast quarter of Section 13, as shown on map of survey filed for record in Volume 5, page 231, Record of Surveys. San Joaquin County Records, said point of beginning being on the westerly extension Of the North right of way line of State Highway sign Route No. 12 (50 feet wide), also known as Kettle== Lane; thence South Da 05;' East. crossing said State Highway, 150,03 feet to a point on the East right of —Y line of Stockton street (40 feet wide); thence North 870 Oh' East 49.98 feetj thence North 00 5011 West 15©.03 feet to the Point of intersection with said South line of "Academy Addition" annexation on the a20resaid North right of way line of said State Righway; thence South 870 06' West along said Gammon line, being 4P an existing City Lizits line, 49,98 feet to thye poiat of beginning= the area thus described containing 0.17 acre, more or less. 2 That the Council of the City of Lodi desires to annex said uninhabited territory to the city of Lodi for the following reasons: The territory is oontiguoua to the City of Lodi, and its proposed annexation will contribute to and facilitate the orderly gzOwth and development of the city and insuze the proper use of land in conformity with the overall soainq plan of the city. 3. That the Local. Agency Formation Conminaion of San Joaquin County, Califor-nia, did in session duly assem=bled on Friday. July 15, 1956, consider wid approve the proposed azinexation of said "Stockton Street Addition," a; above described, and as aut=itted 10 said Cnamission by She City of Lodz. 4. That Wednesday„?.uguet 3, 1956, at the hcur of 3.04 p.m„ in the Council Chars in the City Hall in thc City of L.[odi, County of San Josglun, California, is hereby fixed as tlic time and place when and where any person owning real pze Qzty vduin the City of Lodi and having any objections to the proposed aane;cation, may appear before the Council of the City of Lodi and show 4au*e why such uninhabited territory should too: be so annexed to the City of Lodi. The protest must be in writing, may oe filed at any tis6a before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or carers of property affected and the description and area of such property, in general terms, 5. The C i t y C 1 e rk of the C i t y of Lodi i s hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to ?ae published at least once in the Lodi, Nems Sentinel. a newspaper of general circulation - 2 - published is said City of Lodi, the city to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said publication to be complete at. least four days prior to the date set for hearing.
