RESOLUTION FIXING PUBLIC 'SEARING FOR EXCHANGE OF
PROPERTIES LYING WITHIN PARXING DISTRICT NO. 1, LCDI
WHEREAS, the City of Lodi has received 2 proposal from the
Bank of America N.T. & S.A. whereby said bank has offered to ex-
change that certain real property now owned by the City for
Parking District No. 1 and used for parking purposes described
as follows:
Lot 7, Block 9, City of Lodi, according to the
Official Nap or Plat thereof, filed for record
August 25, 1869, in Volume 2 of Maps and Plats,
page 12, San Joaquin County Records.
for the parcel adjacent thereto which will be deeded by the said
Bank of America N.T. 3 S.A., described as follows:
Lot 8, Block 9, City of Lodi, according to the
Official Ilan or Plat thereof, filed for record
August 25, 1869, in Volume 2 of Maps and Plats,
page 12, :pan Joaquin County Records;
and
WHEREAS, said property to be acquired by the City in exchange
for the property nox owned by the City is proposed to becoce a
part of the off-street parking enteqrise identified in Lodi
City Council Resolution No. 2099, A Resolution Providing for the
Issuance of Bonds, Providing Covenants for the Protection of the
Bonds and for the Pledge of Parking Revenues and Levy of Annual
Ad Valorem Assessments to Pay the Principal and Interest Thereof,
Parking District No. 1, adopted by the Lodi City Council on Feb-
ruary 19, 1958, and said property shall be improved, operated,
maintained and managed by the City as part of said enteqrise in
the same manner as all other lots acquired 2nd improved in the
Proceedings conducted pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1944,
adopted July 18, 1956.
WHEREAS, tie City Council is desirous of setting 2 tine and

place for 2 public hearing to deternine whether the public interest,
necessity and needs of said Lodi Parking District To. 1' would,
in any way, be prejudiced by the proposed exchange.
?OId, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council, City of
Lodi, that Wednesday, the 6th day of July, 1966, at the hour of
6:00 o'clock P.II. of said :ay, at the regular meeting place of
said Council, Council Chambers, City ?all, Lodi, California, are
the time and place fixed for a public hearing on the question of
whether the public interest, necessity and needs of Lodi Parking
District 7o. 1 no loner recuire the use of said Lot 7, Block Y,
as shown on the I•Iao of City of Lodi and that tie exchange and
acquisition of Lot 6, 31ock 9, as shown on the 2 -lap of City of
Lodi will substantially satisfy tie needs, -2u-olio use and_
requirements of Lodi Parking' District No. 1, and whether the ex --
change of properties with the Ban of America, L. ,?% S. A. as
hereinabove outlined should be Consummated.
BE ILTIRTBER RESOLVED, that all persons interested in the
consurzmation of the proposed exchange nay be heard either in
person, by agent or in writing; and
BE IT FURTHER 2E30LTED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to give notice of said bearing by aublishing a copy of this
Resolution on e in the Lodi News -Sentinel, at least ten days
before said hearing.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City
of Lodi, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
15th -'ay of June, 1966, by the following vote:

AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: FRED M. BROWN,
JAMES F. CULBERTSON, ROBERT HUNNELL, and GENE G. WALTON.
NOES, Councilmen: NONE.
ABSENT, Councilmen: JVD KIRSTEN.
