It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi, aotLng in accordance with the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate, close, and abandon as public street the following portion of street situated in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, more particularly described as follows: A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 7, Town- ship 3 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the parcel of land conveyed to the City of Lodi by deed recorded in Official Records, Book 2353, page 179, San Joaqu1n County Records; thence Southerly along the West line of said parcel 30.04 feet to the Southeast corner of said parcel; thence Westerly along the South line of said parcel 100 feet; thence Northerly and parallel to said West line 30.04 feet to the North line of said parcel; thence Easterly along said North line 100 feet to the point of beginning. Reference is hereby made to a map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as to the proposed vacation. Section 2 NOTICE IS HIOU;BY GIVEN that this City Council does hereby fix Wednesday, February 16, 1966, at the hour of 6:00 o'clock p.m. ana the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, as the time and place when and where all persons M interested " or ob jectiing 1;o the vacation herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be heard. 1. Section 3. Upon adoption of this resolution the Director of Public Works shall post, or cause to be posted, notice of such passage and of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance with and in time, form and manner as prescribed by law for the vacation of streets. Section 4�. This resolution shall be published one time in the Lodi News -Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, said publication to be completed at least fifteen days prior to said hearing.
