RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED AYNEXATION TO CITY
OF LODI OF UNI?'FABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN ii Tl)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI:
1. That pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owner
of all of the land in the hereinafter described territory, by
area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assess-
ment roll of the County of San Joaquin, was filed with the Coun-
cil of the City of Lodi on January 5, 1966, requesting annexation
of the hereinafter described territory to said City.
2. That the territory which the petitioner requests be
annexed to the City of Lodi an3 which said City and its Council
propose to annex, is situate in the County of San Joaquin,
State of California, hereby designated "Westwarehouses Addition,"
and described as follows:
a portion of the South half of Section 36, Township 4
North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Ease and Meridian, and a
portion of th? Nortri half of Section 1, Township 3 North, Range
6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and aore particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on present City Limits of the City
of Lodi, which point is the Northwest corner of Lot 6, Lawrence
Homestead Addition, as filed for record on April 5, 1920 in
Volume 10, page 5, Book of Naps and Plats, San Joaquin County
Records; thence Northerly along a curve concave to the West
having a radius of 5779.6 feet, through an angle of 00 301 ,
a distance of 49.85 feet to a point, which point is a corner
of the present City Limits; thence leaving the City Limits and
continuing along said curve through an angle of 00 091, a dis-
tance of 15.03 feet; thence North 880 35' East, 64.75 feet

North of (measured at right angles) and parallel to the Porth
line of said Section 1, as shown on Map of Survey filed for
record on March 7, 1951 in Volume 11, RECORD OF SURVEYS, page
89, San Joaquin County Records, 21+5.96 feet; thence South 790
461 East, 122.53 feet; thence North 88° 35' East, 40.0 feet
North of (neasured at right angles) and parallel to, said
North line of .Section 1, a distance of 172.45 feet; thence
South 10 25' East, 10.0 feet; thence North 880 35' East, 30.0
feet North of (measured at right angles) and parallel to, said
North line of Section 1, a distance of 60.12 feet, more or
less, to the point of intersection with the Northerly extension
of the East line of Stockton Street; thence South 4° 42' West
along said extension of Stockton Street 30.06 feet, more or
less, to the point of intersection with the North line of said
Section 1, thence North 88° 35' West along said North line,
being also an existing City Limits line, 324.12 feet to the
Northwest corner of the parcel of land annexed to the City of
Lodi as %he"Northridge Addition," as described in City of Lodi
Ordinance No. 757; thence continuing along the present City
Limits South 4-o 461 West, 416.56 feet; thence South 850 14'
East, 61 feet; thence South 4° 461 West, 91 feet; thence PTorth
850 14' West, 61 feet; thence South 4° 461 West, 57 feet; thence
North 850 14' West, 71.3 feet; thence South 4° 421 West, 601
feet to the South line of Lot 18 of said Lawrence Romestead
Addition; thence North 890 06' West along said South line of
Lot 18, being also an existing City Limits line, 204.03 feet
to the Southwest corner of said Lot 18; thence North 4° 42'
East along the West line of said Lot 18 and the West line of
Lots 7 and 6 of said Lawrence Pomestead Addition, being also
an existing City Limits line, 1161.2 feet to the point of
beginning; the area thus described containing 7.2 acres, more
or less.

3. That the Local Agency Formation Commission of San
Joaquin County, California, did in session duly assembled on
Friday, December 17, 1965, consider and approve the proposed
annexation to the City of Lodi of said "Westwarehouses Addi-
tion," as above described, and as submitted to said Commission
by the proponent of said annexation.
4. That Wednesday, January 19, 1966, at the hour of 8 p.m.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Lodi,
County of San Joaquin, California, is hereby fixed as the time
and place when and where any person owning real property within
the City, but not owning real property within the uninhabited
territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City
of Lodi, and having any objections to the proposed annexation,
may appear before the Council of the City of Lodi and show cause
why such unin�iabited territory should not be so annexed to the
City of Lodi. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at
any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the pro-
posed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner
or owners of property affected and the description and area of
such property, in general terms.
5. The City Clerk of the City of Lodi is hereby authorized
snd directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published
at least once in the "Lodi News Sentinel," a newspaper of
general curculatio2 published in said City of Lodi, the city
to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said
publication to be complete at least four days prior to the date
set for hearing.
