WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO
THE CITY OF LODI FROM THE MOKF-LU14NE
RURAL COUNTY FI3E FROTECTIOti DISTRICT
EVHBREAS, this City Council did by Ordinance Na 796, effective
October 15, 1965, approve the annexation of that certain real property,
contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as "Lone Oak Addition;" and
WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of
California, executed by said Secretary of State on October $, 1965,
referring to said Ordinance Na 796, and the annexation of the real
property described therein; and
VVIEREAS, the affidavit of the City Cler4c of the City of Lodi
certifying to the annexation of said "€.one Oak Addition" in accordance
with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on
October 15, 1965; and
V14 it is the desire of this City Council that that portion
of said property designated as "Lone Oak Addition" which lies within the
P�okelusene Rural County Fire Protection District;be withdrawn from said
District; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOI,VFFZ by the City Council of the City of L.oda as f3110ws :
That that certain real property, lying within the said "Lone Oak
Addition" and particularly described as follows, to wit:
A portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 3
North, Range 7 East, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter;
thence Easterly along the South line of said Northeast Quarter to
the intersection of the same with the East line of the Southwest
oua:te: of said Northeast Quarter; thence Northerly along said East
line to the Northeast corner of the parcel of land deeded to Hazel O.
Houston by decree of final distribution recorded on November 101 1947
in Volume 1068, page 411, Official Records, San Joaquin County,
thence Westerly along the North line of said Houston parcel to the
Northeast corner of the parcel of land deeded to Corinne How BrYCe
by deed zeao:ded July 20, 1960 in Volume 2320, page 120, Official
Records, San Joaquin County Records; thence Southerly along the
East line of said Bryce parcel to the point of beginning; the
area thus described containing 22.3 acres more or less.
annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Ordinance No. 796, be and it is
hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Mokelu=e Rural County Fire
Protection District.
