HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2880RESOLUTION NO. 2880 WT=RAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LODI FROM THE Sr-ODSRIDGSr RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT VS� this City Council did by Ordinance Na 796, effective October 15, 1965, approve the annexation of that certain real property, Contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as "Lone Oak Addition;" and WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Coda, the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California. executed by said Secretary of State on October 8, 1965, referring to said Ordinance No. 796, and the annexation of the real property described therein; and WMH;FNS the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying to the annexation of said "Lone Oak Addition" in accordance with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on October 15, 1965; and VS� it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of said property designated as "Lone Oak Addition" which lies within the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said District; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: That that certain real property lying within the said "Lone Oak Addition" and particularly described as follows, to wit: A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence Northerly along the East line of said Northwest Quarter 734.58 feet to the Northeast corner of the parcel of land deeded to Coxinne Howe Bryce by deed recorded July 20, 1960 in Volume 2320, page 120, Official Records, San Joaquin County; thence Westerly along the North line of said Bryce parcel 886.38 feet to the Northeast corner of the parcel of land deeded to J. R. Hale by deed recorded in Volume 956, page 217, Official Records, San Joaquin County Records; thence Southerly along the East line of said Hale parcel 734.8 feet to the South line of said Northwest Quarter of Section 7; thence Easterly along said South line 868 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; the area thus described containing 14.7 acres, maze or less_ annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Ordinance Na 796, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District. Dated: November 3, 1965 CERTIFIED to be a full, true and correct copy of Resolution No. 2880 passed.and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting held November 3, 1965, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen - CULBERTSON, DOW, BROWN NOES: Councilmen - No=e .
