RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO CITY
OF LODI OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND
DESIGNATED "RUTLEDGE ADDITION " AND GIVING NOTICE OF
TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING PR&TESTS THERETO
BE IT R1 SOLVED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY CF LODI:
1_ That pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owner
of all of the land in the hereinafter described territory, by
area and by assessed value as sham on the last equalized assess-
ment roll of the County of San Joaquin, was filed with the
Council of the City of Lodi on October 6, 1965, requesting
annexation of the hereinafter described territory to said City.
2. That the territory which the petitioner requests be
annexed to the City of Lodi and which said City and its Council
propose to annex, is situate in the County of San Joaquin, State
of California, hereby designated "Rutledge Addition," and des-
cribed as follows:
A portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township
3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Dlabio Base and Meridian, and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of said Section 3,
said point being the Northwest corner of the parcel of land
annexed to the City of Lodi as the "General Mills Addition,"
as described in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 578; thence South
0 02f' East along the West line of said "General Mills Addi-
tion," being also a City Limit line, 1177.4 feet to the North
line Of the parcel of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the
"Erich Addition," as described in City of Lodi Ordinance no.
746; thence Westerly along the North line of said "Erich Addition,"
being also a City Limit line, 1016.1 feet to the East line of
Sacramento Road, which line is 40 feet East of the West line

of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 3; thence Northerly
along said East line of Sacramento Road, 1207.5 feet to the
North line of said Northeast Quarter of Section 3; thence
South 89° 441 East along the North line of said Northeast
Quarter, 1015.6 feet to the point of beginning; the area thus
described containing 27.8 acres more or less.
3. That the County Boundary Commission of San Joaquin
County, California, did in session duly assembled on Tuesday,
September 14, 1965, consider and approve the proposed annexation
boundaries of said "Rutledge Addition," as above described, and
as submitted to said Commission by the proponent of said a=exa-
t ion.
4. That the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin
County, California, did in session duly assembled on Friday,
September 17, 1965, consider and approve the proposed annexation
to the City of Lodi of said "Rutledge Addition," as above des-
cribed, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponent
of said annexation.
5. That Wednesday, October 20, 1965, at the hour of 8 P.M.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall i n the City of Lodi,
County of San Joaquin, California, is hereby fixed as the time
and place when and where any person owning real property within
the City, but not owning real property within the uninhabited
territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City
of Lodi, and having any objections to the proposed annexation,
may appear before the Council of the City of Lodi and show cause
why such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to the
City of Lodi. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at
any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the pro-
posed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner
or owners of property affected and the description and area of
such property, in general terms.

6. The City Clerk of the City of Lodi is hereby authorized
and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published
at least once in the "Lodi News Sentinel," a newspaper of
general circulation published in said City of Lodi, the city
to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said
publication to be complete at least four days prior to the date
set for hearing.

I hereby certify that Resolution Na 2866 was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in
regular meeting held October 6, 1965, by the following
vote:
