DECLARING TIE INTENTION OF TIE CITY CO1NCIL OF TIE
CITY OF LCDI TO VACATE A PCETICN OF SACRAMENTO STREET
AT TOKAY STREET
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi
as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of
Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, to vacate, close, and abandon as public
street the following portion of Sacramento Street situated
in the City of iodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California,
more particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the Norti-west corner of Lot 27, LARSON'S
ADDITION TO LODI, as filed for record April 1-h, 1896
in 3ook of Maps and. Plats, Vol. 2, page 10, San Joagll`_n
County Records; thence S 85° 00' E, along the North
line of said lot, 5.00 feet; thence S 3° 551
parallel to the West line of said lot, 32.80 feet;
thence 28.05 feet along a curve to tne left having
a radius of 24.00 feet, a central angle of 66°
57' 16", and a long chord which bears S 29° 33'
49" E; thence N 85° 00' W, along the South ling of
said lot, i9.61 feet to the Southwest corner of said
lot; thence N 3° 55' E, along the West line of said
lot, 60.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Reference is hereby made to a map or plan on file in the office
of the City Clerk for particulars as to the proposed vacation.
Section 2. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that this City Council
does hereby fix Wednesday, September 15, 1965, at the hour of
8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Ka11, Lodi, Cali-
fornia, as the time and place when and where all persons
interested in or objecting to the vacation herein proposed
may appear before this City Council and be heard.

Section 3. Upon adoption of this resolution the Super-
intendent of Streets shall post, or cause to be posted, notice
of such passage and of the time and place set herein for
public hearing, in accordance with and in time, forn and
manner as prescribed by Law for the vacation of streets.
Section 4. This resolution shall be published one time
in the Loai News-Ssntinel, a newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City of Lodi, said publication
to be completed at least fifteen days prior to said hearing.
