RESIOLUDON GIVING NOTICE CF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO
CITY CF LODI CF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN
AND DESIGIiATED "SOUTH SANGUINETTI ADDITION " AND GIVING
NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR IFARING OF PRETESTS THERETO
BE IT REKLV D BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY CF LODI:
1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owners
of all of the land in the hereinafter described territory, by
area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assess-
! ment roll of the County of San Joaquin, was filed with the Council
of the City of Lodi on February 3, 1965, requesting annexation
of the hereinafter described territory to said City.
2. That the territory which the petitioners request be
annexed to the City of Lodi and which said City and its Council
propose to annex, is situate in the County of San Joaquin, State
of California, hereby designated "South Sanguinetti Addition,"
and described as follows:
A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 1,
Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian,
and a portion of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township
4 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 23, Block 1,
Sanguinetti Addition, as filed for record on April 8, 1919, in
Volume 9, page 47, Book of Maps, San Joaquin County Records,
said point being also a corner of the Lodi City Limits; thence
West along the South line of Turner Road, also a City Limit line,
280.8 feet to the Southwest corner of said Turner Road and Sacra-
mento Street, as said Road and Street are shown on said map of
Sanguinetti Addition; thence Southerly along the west line of
said Sacramento Street, also a City Boundary, 790 feet, more or
less, to the Northeast corner of Lot 14, Block 2, of said Sanguinetti

Addition, which poi -it is on the South line of Louie Avenue
(60 feet wide); thence Westerly along said South line of Louie
Avenue, a City Limit line, 791.28 feet, more or less, to its
intersection with the East line of Chnrch Street (60 feet wide);
thence Northerly along the Northerly projection of said East
line of Church Street, also a City Limit line, 853.85 feet,
more or less, to its intersection with the North line of Turner
Road, which point is also the Northeast corner of the parcel
of land annexed to the City of Lodi.as the "Thirteenth Addition,"
as described in City of Lodi Ordinance Na 264; thence East along
said North line of Turner Road 598.90 feet to the Southwest corner
of the parcel of land described in deed to the City of Lodi,
recorded in Book 2364, page 451, Official Records of San Joaquin
County; thence North .20 00t East along the East line of said
parcel 4.75 feet; thence West along the North line of said parcel
500.96 feet to its intersection with the Westerly line of the
100 foot right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company;
thencs Northerly along the Westerly line of said Railroad right
of way along a curve concave to the West having a radius of
5679.6 feet, through an angle of Oo 091, a distance of 15.03
feet to the Northwest corner of the parcel of land described
in Agreement with the City of Lodi recorded in Book 2334, page
421, Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence Fast and
parallel to the South line of said Section 36, a distance of
100.2 feet to the East line of said Railroad right of way; thence
Southerly along a curve concave to the West having a radius of
5779.6 feet, through an angle of 00 30t, a distance of 49.85 feet
to the point of intersection of the same with the South line of
said Section 36, said point being a corner of the existing City
Limits; thence West along said Section line, being the existing
City Limits line, a distance of 100.22 feet to a point, which

point is also the Northwest corner of the tract of land annexed
to the City of Lodi as the "Lawrence Ranch Addition," described
in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 471; thence Southerly along the
West line of said "Lawrence Ranch Additiod'30.06 feet to the
point of beginning; the area thus described containing 16.3
acres, more or less.
3. That the County Boundary Commission of San Joaquin County,
California, did in session duly assembled on Tuesday, December 8,
1964, consider and approve the proposed annexation boundaries of
said "South Sanguinetti Addition," as above described, and as sub-
mitted to said Commission by the proponent of said annexation.
4. That the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin
County, California, did in session duly assembled on Friday,
January 15, 1965, consider and approve the proposed annexation
to the City of Lodi of said "South Sanguinetti Addition," as above
described, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponent
of said annexation.
5. That Wednesday, February 17, 1965, at the hour of 8 p.m.,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Lodi,
County of San Joaquin, California, is hereby fixed as the time and
place when and where any person owning real property within the
Citym but not owning real property within the uninhabited terri-
tory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City Of
Lodi, and having any obbections to the proposed annexation, may
appear before the Council of the City of Lodi and show cause why
such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to the City
of Lodi. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at any
time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed
annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or
owners of property affected and the description and area of such
property, in general terms.
6. The City Clerk of the City of Lodi is hereby authorized
and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published
at least once in the "Lodi News Sentinel," a newspaper of general
circulation published in said City of Lodi, the city to which it
is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said publication
to be complete at least four days prior to the date set for hoaring.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 2790 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular
meeting held February 3, 1965, by the following vote:
