A RESOLOTIOiT APPROVING THE ANNEXATION CF
CERTAIN 4SL #i.BI' D TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"ROYAL HOST ADDITION," TO THE CITY CF LODI
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by all the
owners of certain uninhabited territory was filed with the Council
of the City of Lodi on October 28, 1964, requesting annexation
of said territory to the City of Lodi; and
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of October, 1961+, the City Council
of the City of Lodi did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2772 giving
notice of the proposal to annex said uninhabited territory to the
City of Lodi, said territory being therein designated as "Royal
Host Addition," said Resolution describing the boundaries of the
territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHERE S, said Resolution No. 2772 did contain a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would
hear protests made by any person owning real property within the
City of Lodi. but not owning real property within the territory
proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not more
than thirty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution vas duly published in accordance
with law; and
IsiBIREAS, on the 4th day of November, 1964, at the hour of
8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City Q'
Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, said time and
place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No.
2772 for bearing protests to the said annexation, the said City
Council did conduct said hearing and did determine that no protests
t o said annexation had been made; and

WFIEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi,
and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaculn}
rraw, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Lodi does
hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described
to the City of Lodi, and does hereby further resolve that the said
territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of
Lodi is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County
of San Josqu1n, State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 7,
Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and
Meridian, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 7,
which point is 370 feet East of the East line of State
Highway X -8,7-4C (Cherokee Lane), said point being the
Northeast corner of tha tract of land annexed to the City
of Lodi as the "Horton Addition," described in City of
Lodi Ordinance No. 409; thence Easterly along the North
line of said Section 7, being the existing City Limit line,
656.03 feet to the East line of the parcel of land described
in Agreement with the State of California recorded in Vol -
trim 2496, page 90, San Joaquin County Records; thence leav-
ing said City Limit line, South 01° 03' 30" East along the
East line of said Agreement weal, being the East line
of the 17. S. Highway 99-50 Frontage Road, a distance of
87.87 feet to a point; thence continuing along the Fast
line of said Frontage Road along a curve concave to the
West having a radius of 1028.0 feet, through an angle
Of 02° 38' 30", a distance of 47.40 feet; thence South

along the East line of said Frontage Road the following
bearings and distances: along a curve concave to the
Fast having a radius of 972 feet, through an angle Of
08° 121 21", an arc distance of 139.21 feet, thence South
06° 37' 21" East 254.72 feet, thence along a curve concave
to the West having a radius of 1028.0 feet, through an
angle of 05° 2+' 27", an arc distance of 97.13 feet,
thence South 01° 12' 34" East 333.45 feet, thence South
00°481 East 686.06 feet to the North line of the parcel
of land described in deed to J. R. Hale, recorded in Volume
956, page 217, San Joagstin County Records; thence leaving
the East line of said Frontage Road and along said North
line of said Hale property, being the existing City Limits
line, North 87° 35' 30" East (crossing U. S. Highway 99-50),
a distance of 667 feet, more or less, to a point 370 feet
from the East line of said Cherokee Lane, said point being
a corner of the Lodi City Limits; thence Northerly con-
tinuing along said City Limits line, 370 feet Easterly of
and parallel with the East line of said Cherokee Lane 452
feet, more or less, to the South line of the lands annexed
to the City of Lodi designated as the "Healy Addition," by
City of Lodi Ordinance No. 640; thence Easterly along the
South line of said Healg Addition 397.7 feet to the West
line of lands described La deed to the State of California
recorded in Volume 2131, page 51, San Joaquin County
Records; thence Northerly along the West line of State
of California lands being the City Limit line, 453.3
feet to the North line of said Healy Addition; theaes
Westerly along the North line of said Healy Addition,
396.0 feet to a point 370 feet East of the East line
of said Cherokee Lane; thence Northerly along a line
370 feet East of and parallel to said East line of

Cherokee Lane, being along the City Limit line, 10+3
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; the area
thus described conta1rt#nn 26.0 acres, more or less.

regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in
regular meetitg held November 4, 1964, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - CULBERTSON, DOW, KIRSTEN, WALTON,
