Commercial -Vehicle Parking Restriction

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a resolution amending the Traffic Resolution,
#87-163, by approving the restriction of commercial -vehicle parking on
the north side of Elm Street between Ham Lane and Pacific Avenue,
adjacent to Lakewood Mall.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At the March 20, 1996 meeting, City Council approved the
restriction of commercial -vehicle parking on the north side of
Elm Street between Ham Lane and Pacific Avenue. This restriction
will be in effect every day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
The adoption of this resolution will finalize this action.
FUNDING: Costs to install two parking -restriction signs from the Street Maintenance Account at an
approximate cost of $300.

RESOLUTION NO. 96-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING THE RESTRICTION OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
PARKING FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M. EVERY DAY ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF ELM STREET FROM HAM LANE TO PACIFIC AVENUE, AND
THEREBY AMENDING TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 87-163
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve the
restriction of commercial vehicle parking from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P. M. every day on the
north side of Elm Street from Ham Lane to Pacific Avenue, as shown on Exhibit A
attached hereto; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that City of Lodi Traffic Resolution No. 87-163, Section
3 "Street Parking Restrictions" is hereby amended by restricting commercial vehicle
parking from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P. M. every day on the north side of Elm Street from Ham
Lane to Pacific Avenue.

Multi -Way Stop Control
MEETING DATE: April 3, 1996

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a resolution amending the Traffic Resolution,
#87-153, by approving the installation of multi -way stop controls at the
intersection of Garfield Street and Eden Street.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At the March 20, 1996 meeting, City Council approved the
installation of a multi -way stop control at the intersection of
Garfield Street and Eden Street. The adoption of this resolution
will finalize this action.
FUNDING: Costs to change intersection from two-way to multi -way stop control from the
Street Maintenance Account at an approximate t of $750.

RESOLUTION NO. 96-29
A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING INTERSECTION CONTROL AT THE INTERSECTION OF
GARFIELD AND EDEN STREETS AND THEREBY AMENDING
TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 87-163
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve the
installation of "Four-way Stop" signs on Garfield and Eden Streets; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that City of Lodi Traffic Resolution No. 87-163, Section
2 "Through Streets, Stop Intersections, and Yield Intersections" is hereby amended by
installing four-way stop signs on Garfield and Eden Streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this four-way stop intersection be reviewed by
the City Council after one (1) year.
