filed application for ambulance operators' permit in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 756 of the City of Lodi, and
WHEREAS, the report of the Chief of Police has been sub-
mitted and filed, and the City Council has given due and regular
notice of the holding of a public hearing on said application,
Mr.]
WHEREAS, at the time and place of the hearing evidence
was heard and considered in support of said application, and there
being no objections thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lodi,
does hereby find as follows;
(a) That the vehicles described in the application and
proposed to be used comply vith all pertinent state laws;
(b) That the color scheme, insignia, name, monogram, or
other distin lUsh :".g ebb-Arioteristics proposed to be used upon
such ambulance or ambulances is not in conflict with and does not
imitate any color schema, insignib, nage, wouggs' , rr otAr
distinguishing characteristics used by any other person, in such
manner as to mislead w. toad to mislead, deceive, or defraud the
public;
(c) That ambulance service in the City of Lodi is,

applicant is fit, willing, and able to perform ambulance service
and to conform to the provisions of this ordinance and such
rules and regulations as may be promulgated by the City Council
of the City of Lodii
NOW, TXXRBFM, BE IT RESOLVED) by the City Council of the
City of Lodi, that, pursuant to the foregoing findings, a permit
t* issued to,L,ODI AMBUL"C$ MVICS, a co -partnership composed of
PHILIP L. JOLLY, LLOYD HZLW Q, and NUVIN HZEMIC, whore address
is 321 North California Street. Lodi, California, for the operation
of an ambulance service within the city limits of tho City of Lodi.
Said permit is granted subject to the said operators complying
with the conditions and provisions of ordinance No. 756 of the
City of Dodi fox the operation of the two ambulances described in
said application.
DX IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this
germit is October 16, 1963.
