RESOLUTION UktUING THE ADuPTIQN OF ASSEMBLY BILLS
NO. 316 AND NO. 462, 1963 LEGISLATIVE SESSION OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Assembly Bills No. 316 and Nu. 462, introduced
in the California Legislo.turu during the 1963 General Session,
would have the effect of exempting raw materials when held by
manufacturers in the uriginal packages from persurial property
taxes within the State of California; 4rxd
WHEREAS, said exemptions would encourage d,.fll,uree and
industry and the orderly industrial development of this area;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by Lflu City Council ui' the CiLy or Luai
diet it hereby go on record as favoring the passage of Assembly
Bills Nu. 316 and No. E+62.
