That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owners of all of the land in the hereinafter described territory, by area and by assessed va7_ue as shown on the last equalized assess- ment roll of the Comity of Saxe Juayuia, was f'il�-d with the Council of the City of Lodi on January 17, 1962, requesting annexation of the hereinafter described territory to said City. 2. Hoad 491.85 feet to the Southwest corner of the property of Emwa E. Dethlefsen, as shown on Reeord of Survey filed September 30, 1940 in Volume 5, page 145, Record of Surveys, Suzi Joaquin County Records; thence South 890 121' East along the South line of said property 2,600.95 feet to the East line of Sec- tion 10; thence Northerly 494.4 feet along said East line of Section 10 to the point of bieginnirig, the area thus described curitaining 29.4 acres, more or less. 3. The protest must be in writimg, may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and snail state the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected and the description and area of such property, in general terms. 5• The City Clerk of the City of Ludi is hureby authorized rand diracted to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least twice, but nut oftener than once a week, in the "Lodi 2. News -Sentinel," a newspaper of general circulation published in said City of Lodi, the city to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said publication to be complete at least twenty days prior to the date set for hearing. 6. The said City Clerk is further authorized and directed to cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to when land within the territory proposed to be annexed was assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll available wi the data tbt� above said proceedings were initiated, at the addresses shown on said assessment roll or known to said Glerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and the designation of the lands in which he has an interest, either legal or equitable, with said Clerk, such, i�ota.ce to be given not less than twenty days before the first public hearing on the pro- posed annexation. /.
