A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY
COUNCIL CONFIRMING THE ELECTION
OF THE MAYOR
WHEREAS, reorganization of the City Council takes place at the first regular
meeting in December each year; and
WHEREAS, during the reorganization, an election is held by the Council as a
whole by nomination and vote for the positions of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting held December 7, 2005, Susan Hitchcock was elected
to serve as Mayor for a one --year period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that Resolution
No. 2005-254 is hereby adopted confirming the election of Susan Hitchcock as Mayor of
the City of Lodi for a one-year period; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.
