HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2005-239WHEREAS, in April 2003, the City Council authorized Community Development to
submit an application for grant funding through the Code Enforcement Grant Program (CEGP),
offered by the California Department of Housing and Community l eveiopment Department, and
WHEREAS, the equipment identified in the grant application included a new vehicle,
mobile computer equipment and related equipment, wireless technology for those mobile
computers, and video surveillance cameras; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lodi was the last jurisdiction funded through the CEGP and
received only $51,295 of the requested $74,264, and therefore the purchases were scaled
back; and
WHEREAS, $14,600 of the CEGP funds have been expended to acquire a new vehicle
o. the Community improvement Division.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lodi hereby
approves the purchase of mobile computing equipment using Cade Enforcement Grant
Program funds; and
BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED that fronds in the amount of $36,695.50 be appropriated
from Account 1211003, which will thea be reimbursed from the CEGP funds that the State has
allocated for this purpose.
