HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 82-79RESOLUTION NO. 82-79 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ON PROPERTY AT 18 SOUTH MAIN STREET, LODI (ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NO. 043-072-11) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi has received the Report of the Chief Building Inspector of the City of Lodi regarding the repair of a building located at 18 South Main Street, Lodi, California; and WHEREAS, the Report of said Chief Building Inspector and the records and findings in this matter show that all procedural requirements under the provisions of the Housing Code of the City of Lodi have been complied with and it further appears that notice of the time and place of the hearing of these proceedings to fix the assessment of the cost for the repair said building situate on the real property more particularly hereinafter described have been published, mailed, and posted in compliance with the requirements of said Housing Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed, no person appeared to object to said report and said report being in all respects true and correct; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: 1. That the Report by the Chief Building Inspector regarding repair of the building situate at 18 South Main Street, Lodi, California be and is the same as hereby approved. 2. That the total cost of the work done as shown in said Report is the sum of $2,342.40 which cost is hereby confirmed and shall constitute a special assessment against the property more particularly hereinafter described. 3. That said assessment hereby constitutes a lien on said property and shall continue until paid and, further, shall be upon a parity with the lien of State, County, and City taxes. 4. That in the event that said assessment and lien is not paid within 30 days from this date, then the City Clerk shall cause the amount of such assessment in the amount of $2,342.40 to be entered on the assessment roll against said hereinafter described real property and the amount thereof shall be collected together with all other taxes thereon. The City Clerk shall file a certified copy of this resolution with the San Joaquin County Auditor 82-79 -1- pursuant to provisions set forth in Section 1610 of the said Housing Code. 5. That the City Council of the City of Lodi finds that all procedural requirements set forth in said Housing Code of the City of Lodi have been complied with. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the property subject to the assessment upon which the lien is created as foresaid is commonly known as 18 South Main Street, Lodi (Que Pasa Casa Hotel) and is more particularly described as being in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California described as follows: Lot 7, Block 27, City of Lodi Assessor's Parcel No. 043-072-11 Dated: August 4, 1982 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 82-79 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held August 4, 1982 by the following vote: Ayes: Council Members - Olson, Snider, Pinkerton and Reid Noes: Council Members - None Absent: Council Members - Murphy ALICE M.
