RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED STATE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE
CLAIM FOR 1981-82 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER 10
EXECUTE THE REVISED CLAIM ON BEHALF CF THE CITY.
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve Revised State Transit Assistance Claim for 1981-82, a copy of
which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" thereby made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Lodi does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute the document on
behalf of the City of Lodi

This claimant, qualified pursuant to Section 99203 and 99315
of the Public Utilities Code, hereby requests, in accordance with
Chapter 1400, Statutes of 1971 as amended, and applicable rules
and regulations, that an allocation be made in the amount of
Thirteen Thousand One Hundred and O1/.100 Dollars
for the fiscal year I9 U -_&2, to be drawn from the State Transit
Assistance trust fund of the following respective county for the
following purposes and in the following respective amounts:

Allocation instruction and payment by the County Auditor to

STATE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE FUND NARRATIVE
Address all items of a narrative nature here. Attach additional
pages as necessary, as well as any other supporting materials.
This claim is made to recover costs associated with operating
the Lodi Dial- A- Ride for 1981-82. The major reasons for this
revised claim were:
1. The cost of equipment was significantly more than
was anticipated when the original claim was prepared.
2. The general public ridership was significantly less
than was projected which resulted in a lower farebox
return than was anticipated.
3. There were repairs made to equipment as a result of
accidents that were not originally claimed.
The differences between the 1981-82 Budget and actual costs are
