RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ladi did, in open session,
on the 27th day of June, 1978 , publicly open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and improvement described in
Resolution of Intention No. 78-29 for the construction of Street Light Standards
and necessary wires and conduits along a portion of Poplar Street
in the City of Lodi, adapted on the 1st day of March , 1978 , which
Resolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said
work and improvement and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under
said Resolution of Intention;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Lodi hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein
mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said
improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
Graffigna Electric
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Lodi.
The Clerk of the City of Lodi is hereby directed to publish notice of
said award in the "Lodi News -Sentinel," a newspaper published and circulated
in said City of Lodi, and heretofore designated for that purpose by said City
Council of the City of Lodi.
