BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The furniture in the fire station day rooms is approximately seven years old. This furniture is subject to heavy use and is worn beyond repair. The purchase of these thirteen recliners would provide fire safety personnel who are confined to 24-hour shifts adequate furniture for their rest and relaxation. These chairs have been selected by the department for their comfort and their lifetime warranty on mechanical parts, frame, and springs.
