RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN SCHOOLS OF THE
LODI UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AS OVERCROWDED
SCHOOLS.
WHEREAS, the Lodi Unified School District has submitted a
Declaration of Impaction dated November 10, 1978, wherein the City is
notified of conditions of overcrowding in eight 2of its 'School attendance
areas, in accordance with Article Three, Section 3A, et seq., of
Ordinance No. 1149 of the City of - Lodi; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 20, 1978 for
the purpose of allowing interested parties to comment on the matter in
accordance with Section 3C of Ordinance No. 1149; and
WHEREAS, following the public hearing this City Council has
determined that it concurs in the findings set forth in the said Declaration
of Impaction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to said
Section 3C of Ordinance No. 1149, this Council finds the following schools
and their respective attendance areas, which, by inclusion of the two high
school attendance areas, collectively constitute the entire district, to be
overcrowded and eligible to receive the assistance specified in said
ordinance:
Heritage Elementary School
Lakewood Elementary School
Leroy Nichols Elementary School
Vinewood Elementary School
Senior Elementary School
Woodbridge Middle School
Lodi High School
Tokay High School
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted forthwith to the Community Development Director who shall

hereafter not issue any building permits without prior compliance with
the provisions of Ordinance No. 1149.

adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held December 20, 1978 by the following vote:
