RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI
DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF LODI TO VACATE
THE ALLEY BOUNDED BY MAPLE STREET, CHERRY STREET,
CENTRAL AVENUE AND WASHINGTON STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as
follows :
Section I. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi
acting in accordance with the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California to vacate,
close, and abandon as public alleys the following alleys situated in
the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
That 20 foot alley, as shown in Block 4 BodenTs
Subdivision of a portion of Lots 32, 33, 34, and
35 of the Lodi Barnhart Tract as filed for record
April 5, 1910, San Joaquin County Records and
that 10 foot alley as shown in Block 1 of Central
Tract (S. 1/2 Lot 34 and N. 1551 of Lot 36
Lodi Barnhart Tract) as filed for record
January 22, 1924 in Book of Maps and Plats, Vol-
ume 10, Page 78, San Joaquin County Records.
Section 2. It is the further intention of the City Council of the City
of Lodi to retain as a public utility easement the following alley
situated in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
That 10 foot alley as shown in Block 1 of Central
Tract (S. 1/2 Lot 34 and N. 155' of Lot 36, Lodi
Barnhart Tract) as filed for record January 22,
1924 in Book of Maps and Plats, Volume 10, Page
76, San Joaquin County Records.
Section 3. Notice is hereby given that this City Council does hereby
fix Wednesday, January 18, I978 at the hour of 8:00 p. m. and the
City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, as the time
and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to
these vacations herein proposed may appear before the City Council
and be heard.
Section 4. Upon adoption of this resolution, the Director of Public
Works shall post, or cause to be posted, notices of such passage and
of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance
with and in time, form and manner as prescribed by law for the
vacation of streets.
Section 5. This resolution shall be published one time in the Lodi News -
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Lodi, said publication to be completed at least fifteen days prior
to said hearing.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 4450 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular
meeting thereof held December 21, I977 by the following
vote
Ayes: Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Hughes, Katzakian,
Pinkerton and Katnich
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
