DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LORI TO VACATE APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET OF
FLORA STREET IMMEDIATELY WEST OF CHEROKEE LANE
AND TO VACATE ALLEY LOCATED NORTH OF EDEN STREET
FROM CHEROKEE LANE TO 300 FEET W. OF CHEROKEE LANE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as
follows :
Section I. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi,
acting in accordance with the provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate, close,
and abandon as public street the following portion of street situated in
the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, more
particularly described as follows-,
That portion of FLORA STREET bounded an the north by
the south lines of Lots 13 through 24 of Block 5, LODI
BARNHART TRACT as filed November 5, 1906, in Volume 3'.
Page 48, Book of Maps and Plats, San Joaquin County Records,
and bounded on the south by the north lines of Lots I through 11
of FLORA STREET TRACT as filed for record March 1, 1920,
in Volume 9, Page 74, Book of Maps, San Joaquin County Records,
Section Z. It is the further intention of the City Council of the City of
Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to vacate,
close, and abandon as public alleys the following alley situated in the
City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, mo -few
particularly described as follows:

That portion of alley bounded on the north by the south lines
of Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 and on the south by the north lines of
Lots 13, 15, 16, 17 and 18 of said FLORA STREET TRACT.
Section 3. Notice is hereby given that this City Council does hereby
fix Wednesday, March 16, 1977 at the hour of 8:00 p.m. and the City
Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, as the time and place
when and where all persons interested in or objecting to these
vacations herein proposed may appear before the City Council and be
heard.
Section 4. Upon adoption of this resolution, the Director of Public
Works shall post, or cause to be posted, notices of such passage and
of the time and place set herein for public hearing, in accordance with
and in time, form and manner as prescribed by law for the vacation of
streets.
Section 5. This resolution shall be published one time in the Lodi News -
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the
City of Lodi, said publication to be completed at least fifteen days prior
to said hearing.

I hereby certify that Resolution 4317 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting
thereof held February Z, 1977 by the following vote:
