HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 4267RESOLUTION NO. 4267 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COTJNCiL OF THE CITY OF LODI DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF EASEMENT LOCATED IN LAKEWOOD UNIT NO. 4 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Section 50430 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, to vacate and abandon certain public service easement described as follows, Commencing at the most northerly corner of Lot 177 of said LAKEWOOD UNIT NO. 4; thence South 43" 05' 40" West, 10. 00 feet; thence South 46' 541 20" East, 8. 00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 43' 051 40" West, 604, 12 feet; thence 149.45 feet along a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 338. 00 feet, a central angle of 25' ZO' and a long chord which bears South 55® 451 40" West; thence South 68' 25' 40'' West, 336, 07 feet; thence South 79' 25' 30" West, 45,26 feet to a point in the West line of Lot 190 of said LAKEWOOD UNIT NO. 4; thence North 0 0 131 Fast, along s aid We st line 4. 07 feet; thenc e Mort h 790 251 3011 East, 44. 12 feet; thence North 68' 25' 40" East, 335. 69 feet; thence 147. 68 feet along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 334. 00 feet, a central angle of 25* 20' and a long chord which bears North 55' 451 40" East; thence - 1 - North 43* 051 40" 'East, 604, 12 feet; thence South 46' 54' 20" East, 4. 00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPTING A 10. 00 foot strip of land lying 5. 00 feet on either side of the lot line common to Lots 178 and 179; Lots 185 and 186, and Lots 188 and 189 of said LAKEWOOD UNIT NO. 4 ALSO EXCEPTING A 12. 00 foot strip of land lying 6. 00 feet on either side of the lot line common to Lots 189 and 190 of said LAKEWOOD UNIT NO. 4 AND ALSO EXCEPTING The West 8. 00 feet of Lot 190 of said LAKEWOOD UNIT NO. 4 Reference is hereby made to a map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi for the particulars as to the proposed vacation. FURTHER RESOLVED that this City Council does hereby fix Wednesday, November 17, 1976, at the hour of 8.00 p. m. and the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the vacation herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be heard, FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall cause to be posted notices of easement vacation conspicuously along the line of the easement hereinabove described and proposed to be vacated -Z- in the manner, form and for the length of time set forth in Section 50441 of the Government Code of the State of California. FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution shall be published for at least two successive weeks prior to November 17, 1976, in the "Lodi News- Sentinel", a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin.
