HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 4236WHEREAS, the engineering, inspection and testing of public improvements in new subdivisions and developments is considered to be a necessary responsibility of the developer; and WHEREAS, the cost of providing said engineering, inspection and testing services, excluding administrative costs, has been found to be 3% of the cost of installing the public improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to equally distribute the cost of these services to all new subdivisions and developments; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of I . Establish an engineering fee on all new subdivisions and developments requiring the submittal of off-site improvement plans; 2. Determine that the engineering fee shall be in the amount of 3% of the development's off-site improvement installation cost as said cost is deter- mined by the Public Works Director; 3. Determine that the engineering fee for svbdivisions shall be paid by ti developer prior to City Council approval of the final map; 4® Determine that the engineering fee for developments shall be paid by the developer prior to issuance of a building permit; 5. Make this resolution. effective immediately for all subdivisions except those having tentative map approval by the City Planning Commission prior to July 22, 1976; and 6. Make this resolution effective immediately for all developments except those having building permits issued prior to July 22, 1976.
