WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this Gity Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the Deputy City Clerk of this City on April 27, 1976 at 1100 a.m. for the con- tract for Stockton Street Storrn Drain, Kettlernan Lane to Flora Street as described in the specifications therefor approved by the Gity Council April 7, 1976; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as shown on Exhibit "A" attached, and thereby made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be made to the low bidder, McGuire and Hester, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Gity of Lodi that award of contract for the Stockton Street Storm DraiA Kettleman Lane to Flora Street be and the same is hereby made to McGuire and Hester, the low bidder, in the amount of $214,744.25.
