HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 4198RESOLUTION NO. 4 198 A rESOLUTION AUTHOKIZING DESTKUCTION OF CEKTAIN PERSONNEL DEPAKTMENT KECOKDS WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his written consent to the destruction of certain records in the City of Lodi Personnel Department: and WHEREAS, this City Council concurs in the judgment of the City Attorney in regard to the destruction of said records; NOW, THEREFOeE, BE IT KESOLVED, that in accordance with Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California, the City of Lodi Personnel Department be and the same is hereby authorized to destroy records as shown on Exhibit "A" attached. Hinkle, Administrative Assistant DATE: May 3, 1976 SUBJECT: Personnel Files to be destroyed We have recently consolidated and reviewed all records in the City Manager's Office which have reference to Personnel Administration. As a result of this action, we have assembled a small amount of materials of miscellaneous nature to be destroyed. The records contain materials (i.e. , correspondence) dating back as early as 1951. There are no personal files covering current or former employees of the City. This action is requested as specified in Section 34090 of the Government Code in which approval of the legislative body (City Council) and the written consent of the City Attorney is required.
