A rESOLUTION AUTHOKIZING DESTKUCTION OF CEKTAIN
PERSONNEL DEPAKTMENT KECOKDS
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his written
consent to the destruction of certain records in the City of Lodi
Personnel Department: and
WHEREAS, this City Council concurs in the judgment
of the City Attorney in regard to the destruction of said records;
NOW, THEREFOeE, BE IT KESOLVED, that in
accordance with Section 34090 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the City of Lodi Personnel Department be
and the same is hereby authorized to destroy records as shown
on Exhibit "A" attached.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 4198 was
passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Lodi in regular meeting held May 5,
1976 by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Katnich,
Katzakian, Pinkerton and
Hughes
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None

SUBJECT: Personnel Files to be destroyed
We have recently consolidated and reviewed all records in the City
Manager's Office which have reference to Personnel Administration.
As a result of this action, we have assembled a small amount of
materials of miscellaneous nature to be destroyed.
The records contain materials (i.e. , correspondence) dating back as
early as 1951. There are no personal files covering current or former
employees of the City.
This action is requested as specified in Section 34090 of the Government
Code in which approval of the legislative body (City Council) and the written
consent of the City Attorney is required.
If you have any questions regarding this request, please do not hesitate to
