HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 4151 ERRESOLUTION NO. 4 151 RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY'S POLICY IN CONNECTION WITH THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION WITH REGARD TO THE CANDIDATE'S STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS Pursuant to Elections Code Section 10012.5, the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby adopt the following as the policy of the City of Lodi in connection with the General Municipal Election with regard to the Candidate's Statement of Qualifications: (1) A Candidate's Statement of Qualifications shall contain no more than 200 words and shall contain the information specified in Elections Code Section 10012. 5. (2) The Candidate's Statement of Qualifications shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk when the nomination papers are returned for filing. (3) There shall be no charge for those persons filing a Candidate's Statement cf Qualifications in English. (4) For those persons requesting a Spanish translation of the Candidate's Statement of Qualifications, the City will bill each candidate a sum not greater than the actual prorated costs of printing, handling and translating the Candidate's Statement of Qualifications. (5) Resolution No. 4128 heretofore adopted is hereby rescinded.
