SETTING DEADLINE FOR FILING OF NOMINATION
PAPERS FOR 1976 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
FOR DECEMBER 24, 1975 at 5;00 P.M.
WHEREAS, the State of California Elections Code Section
22840 provides that "All nomination papers shall be filed with the
City Clerk not later than 12:00 o'clock noon on the 68th day before
the election"; and
WHEREAS, for the 1976 General Municipal Election the
68th day before the Election is Christmas Day, December 25, 1975;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Lodi that the deadline for the filing of nomination
papers for the 1976 General Municipal Election will be December 24,
1975 at 5:04 P.M.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 4127 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held November 19, 1975 by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Hughes, Ehrhardt, Katnich,
Pinkerton and Schaffer
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
