RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF APPLICATION WITH THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION, U. S. DEPARTMENT
OF COMMERCE, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FOR A GRANT
UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAW 89-136, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, under the terms of Public Law 89- 136, as
amended, the United States of America has authorized the making
of grants to public bodies and private nonprofit organizations or
associations to aid in financing the construction of specific projects:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council
of the City of Lodi
1. That Henry A. Glaves, Jr. , City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Lodi with
the Economic Development Administration, U. S. Department of
Commerce, for a grant to aid in financing the construction of
1. Sanitary sewer running from Century Boulevard and
Stockton Street to Beckman Road and Delores Street
extended;
2. Storm drain in Stockton Street from Century Boulevard
to Kettleman Lane; and
3. Sanitary sewer in Stockton Street from Century
Boulevard to Kettleman Lane.
2. That the above named authorized representative is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the Economic
Development Administration, U. S. Department of Commerce, may
reasonably request in connection with the application which is herein
authorized to be filed, and further is authorized to accept any offer
of grant which may be tendered by the Economic Development
Administration, U. S. Department of Commerce.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 4115 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular
meeting held November 5, 1975 by the following vote:

The undersigned duly qualified City Clerk of the City of Lodi does hereby
certify: That the attached resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution,
authorizing the filing of application with the Economic Development Adminis-
tration, U. S. Department of Commerce, as regularly adopted at a legally
convened meeting of the City Council of the City of Lodi duly held on the 5th day
of November, 1975; and further that such resolution has been fully recorded in
the journal of proceedings and records in my office. In Witness Whereof, I
have hereunto set my hand this 10th day of November, 1975.
