HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 4050RESOLUTION NO. 4050 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ON PROPERTY AT 11 SOUTH GARFIELD STREET WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi has received the Report of the Chief Building Inspector of the City of Lodi dated March 27, 1975 regarding the demolition and removal of a building located at 11 South Garfield Street, Lodi, Califomio; and WHEREAS, the Report of said Chief Building Inspector and the records and findings in this matter show that all procedural requirements under the provisions of the Housing Code of the City of Lodi hove been complied with and it further appears that notice of the time and place of the hearing of these proceedings to fix the assessment of the cost for the removal of said building situate on the real property more particularly hereinafter described have been published, moiled, and posted in compliance with the requirements of said Housing Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed, no person appeared to object to said report and said report being in all respects true and correct; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: 1. That the Report by the Chief Building Inspector, dated March 27, 1975, regarding demolition of the building situate at 11 South Garfield Street, Lodi, CA be and is the same as hereby approved. 2. That the total cost of the work done as shown in said Report is the sum of $901.67, which cost is hereby confirmed and shall constitute a special assessment against the property more particularly hereinafter described. 3. That said assessment hereby constitutes a lien on said property and shall continue until paid and, further, shall be upon a parity with the lien of State, County, and City taxes. 4. That in the event that said assessment and lien is not paid within 30 days from this dote, then the City Clerk shall cause the amount of such assessment in the amount of $901.67 to be entered on the assessment roll against said hereinafter described reol property and the amount thereof shall be collected together with all other taxes thereon. The City Clerk shall file a certified copy of this resolution with the San Joaquin County Auditor pursuant to provisions set forth in Section 1610 of said Housing Code. 5. That the City Council of the City of Lodi finds that all procedural require- ments set forth in said Housing Code of the City of Lodi have been complied with. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the property subject to the assessment upon which the lien is created as foresaid is commonly known as 11 South Garfield Street and is more particularly described as being in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California described as follows: "The South 29 feet of Lot 1, Block 2, East Lodi Addition, Assessor's Parcel Number 043-123-1l." Dated: April 16, 1975 hereby certify that Resolution No. 40 5 0 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in o regular meeting held April 16, 1975 by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen - EHRHARDT, HUGHES, KATNICH, PINKERTON, and SCHAFFER Noes: Councilmen - None Absent: Councilmen - None +s Y ].
