HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3974RESOLUTION NO. 3974 FIXING TAX RATE IN PROVISION FOR REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1974 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1975 WHEREAS, this City Council of the City of Lodi did on 17th day of July, 1974, adopt an Operating Budget by passage of Ordinance No. 1038 and, on the ?.1st day of August. 1974, adopt a Utility Outlay and Capital Improvement Budget by the introduction of Ordinance No. 1041, therein setting forth the several amounts of revenues from property taxes necessary to support its departments for the current year and to pay the bonded or other indebtedness of the City: and WHEREAS, the assessment roll of all properties in the City of Lodi subject to taxation for municipal purposes returned by the County Auditor as equalized by the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County and by the State Board of Equalization displays a total assessed valuation of $88, 053, 098; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that taxes in provision of revenue to support the various departments of the City of Lodi and to pay the cos t of collection of said taxes be, and the same are hereby levied upon all of the assessed value of the taxable property at the following rates (expressed in cents per $100.00 of said assessed value), to wit: FOR THE GENERAL FUND at $0. 98 FOR THE PENSION FUND at $0.20 FOR THE STORM DRAINAGE FUND at $0. LO FOR THE LIBRAR. FUND at $0. LO FOR THE LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION FUND at $0.10 A TOTAL TAX RATE OF $1.68 .71 Page Xo. On the adoption of this resolution, the City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the County Auditor of San Joaquin County as provided in Section 51511 of the Government Code of this State and said City Clerk shall cause a copy thereof to be published one time in the '''Lodi News Sentinel" in compliance with Section 36936.1 of said Government Code.
